Mistakes that blondes need to know!

A lot of people use Moroccan oil for their hair.  Personally, I rather use argan oil or coconut oil but that's besides the point.. Unfortunately, being blonde and using M oil is that it makes your hair very brassy!  So keep your paws off this oil if you want gorgeous looking blonde hair that looks like you just walked out of a salon.

Another great tip for staying blonde is using a purple shampoo.  Everytime I shower I use my personal favourite, Clairol shimmering lights.  I only keep  it in for 2 minutes though so you don't walk out looking like Grimace!.  Just keeps it looking gorgeous and platinum until my next hair app!

Banish those lines!

So we all have to deal with aging sooner or later.  Luckily, there IS a way to looking youthful longer! 

Obviously we need lots of anti-oxidants which I apparently don't get enough of, lots of rest, meditation and deep breathing to keep your blood pressure and stress down, healthy eating and lots of exercise.  

Well what can we do to personally keep our skin looking healthy?  Lots of moisturizing, my preference throughout my body and my face would be using coconut oil and jojoba oil.  I NEVER touch anything that is not natural anymore for my skin.  So get rid of all that expensive skin care garbage you have.  You don't need any of it!!

For fine lines or even the areas you know will be sensitive to aging apply cold-pressed castor oil (found at whole foods, health food stores) onto the area(s) once a night massaging just a tiny bit into the area. 

I assure you, you will be impressed.

One of the best mascaras!

It's called THEIR REAL by benefit.  I buy it from sephora.  You can even mix and match with other mascaras for ultra volume.  Such as with buxom lash.

Zucchini Brownies that are to DIE for!


  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups shredded zucchini
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oil, sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla until well blended. Combine the flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, baking soda and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Fold in the zucchini and walnuts. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until brownies spring back when gently touched. To make the frosting, melt together the 6 tablespoons of cocoa and margarine; set aside to cool. In a medium bowl, blend together the confectioners' sugar, milk and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in the cocoa mixture. Spread over cooled brownies before cutting into squares.

Get through the day smoothie

I just made this smoothie today and tastes AWESOME!  Has everything you need to get through the day.  You can always add your own ingredients ( i will list a few at the bottom for ideas ).

1 Banana
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein (found in workout protein shops)
2 teaspoons of benefibre (found in pharmacies)
1 large handful of frozen strawberries
5 icecubes
1 1/2 cups of water

Optional add ons: Tbs of flax seeds, tbs virgin coconut oil, other frozen fruits such as blueberries or a mix fruit, couple of handfuls of frozen spinach.
